Continual improvement seeker, contrarian, status quo challenger and pot stirred with an old school belief that better healthcare outcomes come from strengthening trusted relationships and physicians leading not following.
Amongst the highs and lows of medicine lies our desire to make the children's world a better place. We can predict teh future of heatlchare for pediatrics by building it.
Where I come from....
I am a physician with 30 years of experience in healthcare, primarily as a pediatric emergency physician, but also as a serial innovator, founder, employee, independent contractor, and employer. The purpose of my writing is to offer a perspective into medicine that I didn't have before I started, and one that those who don't practice can't provide. This is a forum for dialogue, discussion, disagreement, and a desire to drive consensus. It relies on data, evidence, and outcomes to judge what is working and what simply is not. The future of heatlhcare, especially pediatrics, relies on us.
